Roman Kappeler has been Head of Communications at cablex AG since October 2014 and joined the company's Executive Board in 2018. cablex is a wholly owned subsidiary of Swisscom and, with over 2'500 employees, specialices in the construction, maintenance and operation of high-performance ICT and network infrastructure solutions as well as the planning and implementation of innovative smart infrastructure projects. Prior to that, he worked for 14 years at Swisscanto, the joint venture of the Swiss cantonal banks, where he held various management positions in marketing and communications.

Roman Kappeler is a business economist and holds an Executive Master's degree in Services Marketing and Management as well as various further diplomas in social media, digital business and communications.
